The CL-21 from Amphenol Advanced Sensors is a Negative Temperature Coefficient Thermistor that has been designed to provide an in-rush current limit for electronic devices. It has a current rating of up to 8 A and a resistance of 1.3 ohms. This UL-approved compact thermistor offers excellent mechanical stability and a low-cost solid-state solution for in-rush current suppression. It has an operating temperature range of -50ºC to 175ºC and is suitable for PCB mounting. This thermistor is available in a through-hole package that measures 13.97 x 5.33 mm and is ideal for switching power supplies, fluorescent lamps, inverters, and motor applications.
