The ES 30 from Block is an Inrush Current Limiter that has been designed to limit the inrush current in transformers with high switch-on or inrush currents (not suited for electrical machinery and motors). It has a voltage rating of up to 400 V(AC) and a current rating of 16 A. This inrush current limiter has a resistance (internal) of 3.75 ohms. It integrates a non-replaceable thermal fuse in the input circuit to enhance safety features. This IP30-rated current limiter has excellent moisture protection due to its XtraDenseFill resin encapsulation. It is available in a DIN rail-mount package that measures 3.56 x 2.80 x 2.28 inches.
