The KTD2061EUAC-TR from Kinetic Technologies is a Programmable LED Driver that has been designed for AI smart speakers, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi loudspeakers, automotive panels, accent and mood lighting, IoT, gaming PCs, keyboards, controllers, VR and robotics applications. It requires an input voltage of 2.5 - 5.5 V. This LED driver drives up to 36 LEDs (12 RGBs) and has multiplexed LED current driver outputs. It comprises of 36 independent fade-up/down engines that are integrated for independent ramping of each LED’s current during ON/OFF, brightness, and color transitions without software burden.

This IC includes BrightExtend feature to optionally reduce dropout when the input voltage is too low for the forward voltage of the LEDs, enabling battery-powered applications. It also supports programmable CoolExtend to prevent excessive heat by regulating die temperature when the input voltage, current settings, and/or ambient temperature are high. This LED driver is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3 x 3 x 0.52 mm.
