The NCV7693 from onsemi is an Automotive-Qualified LED Driver Controller that has been designed for Automotive LED lamps. It requires an input voltage of 6.17–16 V and supports external switching components to drive multiple LED strings. This controller features three independent channels, each with diagnostic capabilities for open load, short circuit to ground, and battery conditions. This AEC-Q100 qualified controller benefits from thermal shutdown protection and short-circuit protection on the PWM input pins. It has a high input threshold of 2.2 V and an under-voltage lockout of 4.43 V.
This RoHS-compliant IC is available in a compact surface-mount TSSOP-14 package that measures 6.40 x 5.10 x 1.2 mm. It is PPAP-capable and ideally suited for rear combination lamps (RCL), daytime running lights (DRL), fog lights, CHMSL arrays, and other automotive LED lighting applications.
