The BCL25-700-8 from Bel Power Solutions is an On-Board Charger that has been designed for hybrid (HEV) and fully electric vehicles (EV). It requires an input voltage of 190 – 264 V and an input current of 32 A. This liquid-cooled on-board charger delivers an output power of 22 kW and has an efficiency of up to 95%. It allows direct connection to an EVSE charging station or the public grid and accommodates both single-phase and three-phase AC supply. This versatile charger can also operate to power three-phase AC equipment when connected to HV batteries. It provides the ability to connect up to four units in parallel under charging mode to deliver greater power. This charger is equipped with comprehensive protection circuitries to prevent overheating, over-voltage, and over-current events. The charger meets rigorous automotive standards, such as SAE J1939 for CAN control and monitoring, SAE J1772, EN 61851, and IEC 61851-21-1 for compatibility and safety. It is available in an IP6k9k/IP67-rated module that measures 704.4 x 359 mm.
