The HK-J-H650-12 from Elcon is an IP 67-Rated UHF CAN Bus Charger designed for charging lithium batteries in electric vehicles. It requires an input voltage of 90-265 V and an input current of less than 32 A. This IP67-rated on-board charger (OBC) delivers a nominal current of 5 A with an output voltage of 13.8 V. It provides an output power of 6.6 kW with an efficiency exceeding 93%. This OBC offers an optional CAN communication feature with baud rates of 125 Kbps, 250 Kbps and 500 Kbps. This fully sealed, fan-cooled charger reliably operates from -35°C to +85°C internal temperature. It includes an internal temperature sensor that shuts off when the internal temperature is over 90°C and works well in short-time immersion. This OBC is available as a module that measures 353 x 230 x 160 mm.
