The SMCZ1-7218A from Summit Power is an On-board Battery Charger that is designed to convert an AC voltage of 90-264 V to a DC output of 72 V. This on-board charger (OBC) offers a rated output power of 1.5 kW and achieves an efficiency greater than 93%. It employs soft switching technology and is compatible with lead-acid, lithium-ion, and nickel-hydrogen battery packs. This IP67-rated OBC also includes LED status indicators and an optional 12V/3A auxiliary power supply and CAN communication function. It measures 282 x 146 x 82 mm and is suitable for cycle charging of battery packs of electric vehicles, motorcycles, sightseeing vehicles, forklifts, logistics vehicles, golf carts, patrol cars, ships, and communication equipment.
