The Valeo On-Board Charger from Valeo is an On-Board Charger that converts alternating current from the grid into direct current to charge the vehicle’s battery. It delivers up to 22 kW output power with an efficiency of up to 96%. This on-board charger (OBC) is designed for broad grid compatibility (110V/220V, single-phase and three-phase with automatic detection) and is available in 400 V and 800 V versions to support different output voltage ranges. It offers a power density of up to 2 kW/l and ensures compact integration. It features advanced communication capabilities, including CAN, IEC 61851, SAE J1772, GB/T, ISO 15118 PLC, and CHAdeMO, enabling connectivity across global standards. This OBC supports bidirectional power flow (V2X) and is ideal for PHEV and BEV applications.
