The HVCC Class 1 Series from Vishay are Radial-Leaded, High-Voltage Ceramic Disc Capacitors. They have a capacitance of up to 1000 pF and a capacitance tolerance of up to ±10%. These capacitors have a DC voltage rating of up to 15000 V with an isolation resistance of 200 giga-ohms at 500 VDC. They consist of a ceramic disc with silver-plating on both sides, and connection leads made up of tinned copper-clad steel wire. These single-layer capacitors feature low DC bias, low losses and high reliability. They are available in radial-mount packages and are ideal for high voltage power supplies for X-ray sources and pulsed lasers, baggage scanners, medical X-ray, industrial lasers, and air purifier/ionizer applications.
