The SMDY1 Series from Vishay are Automotive Grade EMI Suppression Safety Capacitors. They have capacitance values ranging from 470-4700 pF with capacitance tolerances of ±20%. These single-layer ceramic disc power capacitors have a voltage rating of up to 760 V and an insulation resistance of over 10000 mega-ohms. The SMDY1 series withstands an 85 / 85 / 1000 h test and can pass 1000 temperature cycles (from -55 °C to +125 °C). These power capacitors have achieved humidity class IIB annex I and offer high reliability. They benefit from an encapsulation made of flame-retardant epoxy resin in accordance with UL 94 V-0.
