The BosCon Aluminum Cable Series from Stäubli International are High Power Photovoltaic Connectors designed for electrical balance of system (eBOS) trunk cables, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and EV charging systems. These connectors are rated for 1500 V AC/DC and support currents up to 559 A with 600 MCM aluminum cable. They are cULus certified to UL 6703 and CSA 22.2 No. 182.5, ensuring compliance with North American PV and power-distribution safety standards. These connectors feature color-coded and mechanically keyed coding rings in seven positions (+, −, L1, L2, L3, PE, N) to prevent mismating in multi-conductor and multi-phase installations. They support both field and factory crimping and are offered in socket and plug versions. They provide low contact resistance, high ingress protection (IP65/IP68 when mated), and are suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
