The KTS1287 Series from Kinetic Technologies are Flat-Clamp Mini Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes designed to provide robust transient voltage suppression (TVS) for ESD and surge events that occur at a system’s USB or other DC power input or output port. They have a forward voltage of -0.7 to -0.4 V. These TVS diodes have reverse breakdown voltages of over 31.2 V, and offer high +/- 30 kV ESD ratings for both contact and air-gap discharges. They provide surge protections up to +/- 250 V, and are optimized for different system voltages with maximum reverse working voltages of 23 V, 25 V, or 28 V. These TVS diodes are available in a wafer package that measures 1.6 x 1.7 x 0.592 mm and are ideal for USB or DC input/output power ports, smartphones, tablets, computers, docking stations, monitors, power-banks, cameras, generators, terminals, instrumentation, and rechargeable devices.
