The 5.0SMDJ-FB Series from Littelfuse are Low Clamping Voltage TVS Diodes that are designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. They have a reverse stand-off voltage of up to 64 V, a breakdown voltage of over 78.6 V and a clamping voltage of up to 91.4 V.   These UL 94 V-0-rated diodes have a peak pulse current of 53.4 A. They have 5000 W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000 μs waveform. These diodes have low dynamic resistance and feature foldback technology for a superior clamping factor. They are recognized by UL 497B as an Isolated Loop Circuit Protector. These RoHS-compliant diodes are available in surface-mount packages that measure 7.11 x 6.22 x 2.62 mm and are ideal for the protection of I/O Interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial and consumer electronic applications.
