The MSD1514T Series from Coilcraft are Automotive-Grade Coupled Inductors that are ideal for use in a variety of circuits, including flyback, multi-output buck, SEPIC, Zeta, and Cuk. These power inductors have an inductance of 2.5-1000 µH and a self-resonant frequency of 1.1-34 MHz. They have a saturation current of 1.34-30.5 A and a dynamic contact resistance (DCR) of less than 1.25 ohms. These AEC-Q200-qualified power inductors offer an excellent coupling coefficient (k ≥ 0.97). They have high inductance, high efficiency, and excellent current handling capabilities. These RoHS-compliant power inductors, when in SEPIC topologies, require inductance for each winding to be half the value needed for two separate inductors, allowing selection of a part with lower DCR and higher current handling. They are available in a surface-mount package that measures 15 x 15 x 14.2 mm.
