The BD868C0MUF-C from ROHM Semiconductors is an Automotive Qualified Power Management IC. It requires an input voltage of 4 to 18 V. This PMIC consists of a primary buck DC-DC converter, a dual secondary buck DC-DC converter with a built-in FET device, a secondary liner regulator for the CMOS sensor, and an image sensing power supply. It utilizes a spread spectrum frequency modulation technique that results in regulated outputs with lower noise.

This AEC-Q100 qualified PMIC offers integrated over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD) circuitries to prevent sudden surges and short-circuit related damages. It consists of a built-in self test (BIST) feature that is enabled during startup to provide diagnostic analysis. This PMIC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.5 x 3.5 mm with wettable flanks and is ideal for camera system with CMOS sensors and ADAS applications.
