The PD-9006G/ACDC/M-UK from Microchip Technology is a 6-Port IEEE 802.3at-Compliant Power-Over-Ethernet Injector that has been specifically designed to power IEEE 802.11n and IEEE 802.3at access points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and dome cameras, IP videophones, thin clients, and other high-power Ethernet end terminals. It requires an input voltage of 100-240 V, delivers an output power of 450 W (total power), and has a data rate of 10/100/1000 Mbps. This power-over-ethernet (PoE) device also provides backward compatibility and is safe to use with any 802.3af terminals, such as VoIP phones and wireless LAN access points. It allows a plug-and-play connection in the midspan, leveraging an existing Ethernet infrastructure while also assuring a future-proof network.
This PoE injector also supports power redundancy via mutual midspan-to-midspan backup. It can be used with PowerView Pro secure, remote SNMPv3, and cloud-based management software for network management. This WEEE-compliant power-over-ethernet injector is available in a module that measures 438 x 272 x 44 mm.
