The INN4076C-H183 from Power Integrations is an Off-Line CV/CC ZVS Flyback Integrated Load Switch IC that has been designed to dramatically improve the efficiency of flyback power converters. This switch requires an input voltage of 85 - 264 V. It integrates both primary and secondary controllers that are magnetically coupled to each other in conjunction with a safety-rated feedback system. This switch is combined with an active clamp IC that results in reduced system and primary switch losses, thereby allowing extremely high-power densities. It provides a steady state switching frequency of up to 155 kHz.


This switch uses an external sense resistor to adjust the output current and provides an option for latching fault response with auto-restart that ensures over-temperature protection. This RoHS-compliant power switch IC is available as a surface-mount package that measures 9.40 x 13.43 mm and is ideal for high-density flyback designs up to 220 W, high-efficiency USB PD adapters, and high-efficiency CV/CC power supply applications.
