The TLX9161T from Toshiba is an Automotive-Qualified Photo Relay that has been designed for EV, fuel battery control, automotive, and battery control applications. It requires a supply voltage of up to 1000 V. This power switch has an input forward voltage of up to 1.95 V and an input reverse current of 10 µA. It integrates an infrared-emitting diode, which is then optically coupled to a photo-MOSFET. This power switch features a normally open (1-Form-A) switch configuration, which makes it ideal for high-voltage switching operations. It has an on-state current of 30 mA, an on-state resistance of 500 ohms and an isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms. This IC provides superior insulation with a minimum clearance and creepage distance of 5 mm, and an insulation thickness of 0.4 mm, meeting stringent safety standards.
