The VS-P101 from Vishay is a Thyristor Module that is ideal for power supplies, control circuits, and battery chargers applications. It has a break-over voltage of up to 400 V and a break-over current of less than 375 A. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of 2 V and a gate trigger current of 60 mA. It integrates power thyristors and power diodes in a single package and includes an electrically isolated base plate to simplify its mechanical design, thereby resulting in a low-cost design.
