The KK800A from ZHEJIANG HUAJING RECTIFIER CO., LTD is a Fast Turn-off Thyristor that is designed for inverter, chopper, inductor, and various types of forced converter applications. It has a break-over voltage of up to 2500 V and a break-over current of less than 12 kA. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of up to 2.5 V and a gate trigger current of 40 to 300 mA. It is designed in a full diffusion process along with a distributed extension to amplify the gate structure. This thyristor offers excellent dynamic characteristics while providing a fast-switching performance with minimalistic switching loss. It is available in a hermetically sealed ceramic disc package that measures 66 x 1.5 mm.
