The HP10M1 from Mersen is a Photovoltaic Fuse that has been specifically developed for the protection of photovoltaic (PV) string wiring for 1 kV (DC) industrial rooftop and utility-scale PV systems. It has a voltage rating of 1000 V (DC) and a current rating of 1 A. This PV fuse has a current interruption rating of 50 kA (DC) and a power dissipation of 0.25 W. It offers a robust construction that makes it ideal for withstanding continuous temperature and current cycles, improving system longevity. This fuse is designed for low minimum breaking capacity capabilities with 1.3 times the fuse rated current value, which allows for safe circuit interruption under typical low fault current conditions produced by PV arrays. 

This photovoltaic fuse includes a unique wire crimp terminal as an option that permits solderless wire-to-fuse connection to support over-mold encapsulation of the fuse and wiring. It is available in a clip-mount package (with Ferrule) that measures 10 x 38 mm. This RoHS-compliant fuse is ideal for protecting in-line PV modules, inverters, battery charge controllers, PV strings/arrays, combiner boxes, and other PV systems.
