The B78541A Series from TDK Corporation are Automotive Grade Gate Drive Transformers. These transformers have a nominal inductance of 50 µH and a leakage inductance of 0.6–0.7 µH. They have a turns ratio of 1:0.91:0.36 – 1:1.08 and operate at frequencies from 100–500 kHz. These AEC-Q200-qualified transformers are based on MnZn ferrite core construction and have a coupling capacity in the range of 4 pF. They operate efficiently across a broad temperature range of up to 150°C. These RoHS-compliant transformers are available in a surface-mount package that measures 14.85 x 10.05 x 9.2 mm and are ideal for galvanic-isolated single-channel IGBT/SiC driver ICs.
