The L4X3RP from Littelfuse is a Sensitive Gate Triac designed for AC switching and phase control applications. It has a voltage rating of 400 V and can withstand a non-repetitive surge current of up to 10 A. This triac has a gate trigger voltage of 1.3 V and a gate trigger current of 3 mA. It offers bi-directional switching capability and has glass passivated junctions for increased reliability. This RoHS-compliant triac consists of a sensitive gate that can be directly driven by a microprocessor or popular opto-couplers/isolators. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5.10 x 3.30 x 1.95 mm and is suitable for lower current heating controls, water valves, solenoids, AC solid-state switches, home/ brown goods, and white goods appliances.
