ACT108-600E Image

The ACT108-600E from WeEN Semiconductors is a Triac that is ideal for fan motor circuits, pump motor circuits, and low-power highly inductive, resistive, and safety load applications. It has a break-over voltage of 800 V and a break-over current of less than 13 A. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of over 0.15 V and a gate trigger current of less than 10 mA. It is designed to provide self-protective capabilities against low and high-energy voltage transients while providing conduction across an entire cycle of an AC signal. This triac exhibits negative gate trigger characteristics while providing very high noise immunity. It can safely clamp low-energy over-voltage transients and includes a self-protection turn-on for high-energy voltage transients. This triac is available in a through-hole package.
