The AMCV-2220H-600-T from Abracon is a Multilayer Chip Varistor that has been designed to enable high-density mounting. It has an AC voltage rating of up to 46 V, a DC voltage rating of 60 V, and a clamping voltage of less than 130 V. This RoHS-compliant varistor offers excellent solderability (Ni, Sn plating), clamping ratio, and voltage surge suppression capability. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5.7 x 5.0 x 2.5 mm and is ideal for transient voltage protection and voltage surge suppression for LED lighting, protecting DC-DC modules, I/O ports, IC drivers, LCD-TV, STB, switch, router, PLC, security system, smart meters, suppressing induced and switching over-voltage caused by lightning and power, and mobile phone applications.
