Taiwan Semiconductor Introduces Automotive Compliant Low Dropout Linear Regulators. TQL821, TQL850, and TQL851 are high-performance low dropout linear regulators with 3.3 V & 5 V fixed output, the input range of 3 V to 50 V, and low Iq. These devices provide 2% output voltage accuracy and are suitable for automotive or systems. The devices are stable with a small ceramic capacitor of 1 μF to provide a fast transient response with good stability. The input voltage will work down to 3 V which provides a margin for cranking conditions of an automotive electrical system.
