ABLIC has announced the launch of its new S-1230/1 Series of high-withstand voltage linear regulators, engineered to meet the demands of industrial and automotive systems operating under extreme conditions. With a maximum input voltage of 66V and a rated voltage of 80V, the S-1230/1 Series is designed to support 12V, 24V, and 48V power supply systems while maintaining ultra-low current consumption.
One of the standout features of the S-1230/1 Series is its open-loop protection circuit, which detects faults in the negative feedback loop and prevents dangerous voltage spikes—eliminating the need for external overvoltage protection components. This not only enhances system safety but also reduces cost and board space.
The regulators operate reliably at temperatures up to 105°C, making them ideal for deployment in high-temperature industrial environments. With a typical operating current of just 2.0 µA, the series sets a new benchmark for energy efficiency, particularly in standby power scenarios for continuously operating MCUs and sensors.
ABLIC’s new lineup reflects a growing industry need for compact, cost-effective, and robust power management solutions that don’t compromise on safety or performance. The S-1230/1 Series is a part of ABLIC’s expanding portfolio of mid- and high-voltage general-use linear regulators.
