
Bourns is pleased to announce the introduction of the Riedon Precision Wirewound Resistors and Precision Wirewound Temperature Sensors by Bourns (RTDW Series). These releases enable designers to make precise current and temperature measurements for a range of applications.
The Riedon Precision Wirewound Resistors by Bourns (1xxPC, SM8, SM10, SM/1xx Series) are designed with precision in mind. Offering Temperature Coefficient of Resistances (TCRs) of ±2 PPM/°C and resistance tolerances as low as ±0.005 %, these resistors are designed for use in current sensing in applications such as smart energy metering, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
The Riedon Precision Wirewound Temperature Sensors by Bourns (RTDW Series) achieve accurate temperature sensing results by combining a tight resistance tolerance of ±1 % and material selection allowing for TCRs as high as ±6000 PPM/°C. These sensors have a 0 °C to +100 °C temperature range for general use temperature sensing in applications such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and industrial motor drives.
