WATTALPS Integrates CEJN ultraFLOW Couplings to Boost Battery Performance

WATTALPS is meeting the rising demand for high-performance batteries built for the most challenging industries. Focusing on innovation and reliability, the company partnered with CEJN to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of its advanced battery systems by integrating CEJN ultraFLOW quick connect couplings.

French company WATTALPS is a leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance batteries for demanding industries such as mining, maritime, agriculture, transportation, and construction. Founded in 2017, the company has quickly built a strong reputation for delivering reliable battery solutions that are built to handle extreme working conditions.

WATTALPS focuses on the safety and robustness of its products. Its batteries are certified IP67 and IP6K9K and are equipped with a BMS (Battery Management System) that meets automotive standards. CEJN couplings integrated into WATTALPS batteries have successfully passed rigorous tests (vibration, fire resistance, immersion tests, etc.). "It is crucial for the quality of our batteries that each supplier meets its commitments in terms of quality, cost, and delivery times”, says Matthieu Desbois-Renaudin, co-founder of WATTALPS. “CEJN has successfully met these expectations," he continued.

Extreme temperatures are the biggest threat to battery longevity. Cold can halve their lifespan or reduce it by a factor of 10 in severe conditions. Similarly, heat can shorten battery lifespan by a factor of 3, or even 7 under extreme conditions, due to cell degradation that affects other cells in the circuit.

WATTALPS batteries, designed for heavy-duty vehicles, are built to perform in tough environments where temperature changes can impact both performance and lifespan. Known for maintaining optimal operating temperatures, these batteries ensure reliable performance and long-term durability, even under the harshest conditions. To further enhance their battery systems, WATTALPS turned to CEJN's ultraFLOW couplings, which simplify assembly, allow easy integration into various equipment configurations, and ensure robust performance. "The integration of CEJN's couplings was driven by their differentiating features, including low-pressure drop, leak-free operation, and high resistance to shocks and corrosion," says Desbois-Renaudin.
