The MGDM-500 Series from Gaia Converter are Military Grade High-Reliability DC-DC Converters that convert an input voltage of 9-70 V to an output voltage of 12-48 V. They deliver an output power of up to 500 W and have an efficiency of 91%. These converters employ double interleaved forward topology and use magnetic feed-back technology instead of the classical optocoupler for improved reliability. They can withstand galvanic isolation voltage levels of up to 1500 V (DC). These converters offer output voltage trimming functionalities and allow shifting of switching frequencies to alter the output voltages without compromising the noise performance. They are equipped with robust protections to safeguard against inrush current limitation, over-load, short-circuit, and over-temperature events. 

These converters are available in chassis-mount packages that measure 57.7 x 60.96 mm and is ideal for mil-aero, ground-borne, civilian avionic, on-board military radars, navigation systems, surveillance drone, flight recorders, night vision illuminators, intelligent weapons, and naval applications.
