The MGDS-04-H-C from Gaia Converter is a High Reliability DC-DC Converter that converts an input voltage of 9-36 V to an output voltage of 5 V. This single-output converter features a galvanic isolation of up to 1500 VDC and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 105°C. It delivers an output current of up to 800 mA and provides an output power of 4 W. This DC-DC converter uses a high-frequency fixed switching technique at 480 kHz to provide excellent reliability, low noise characteristics, and high-power density. It includes a soft-start, short-circuit, and output overvoltage protection circuits to enhance module protection.  

This DC-DC converter is designed with an LC EMI network filter to minimize reflected input current ripple and output voltage ripple. It is available in a through-hole package that measures 32 x 19.3 x 7.5 mm and is ideal for aerospace, military, and high-end industrial applications.
