The PE26100A-R from pSemi is a Multi-level Buck Converter designed to provide low-profile, fast-charging solutions for single-cell lithium batteries. It requires an input voltage of 4.5-18.5 V and delivers an output current of 6 A in buck and charge pump modes. This buck converter operates as a regulated multi-level buck converter when a fixed input voltage is applied and can be configured as a charge pump capacitor divider in divide-by-2 or divide-by-3 modes when a variable source is applied. It allows devices to be connected in parallel and supports reverse boost for on-the-go (OTG) or reverse wireless charging up to 10 W.
This converter offers accurate telemetry measurements through an I2C interface and is compatible with the latest USB and Qi wireless charging standards. It includes under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), along with IC over-temperature with fault and warning status.
