It is based on the peak current mode architecture and integrates a compensation network within the package to minimize design complexity and size. This buck converter utilizes low consumption mode (LCM) for applications that are active during car parking, thereby maximizing the efficiency under light loads, and uses low noise mode (LNM) to maintain the switching frequency constant and minimize output voltage ripple. It also supports optional spread spectrum modulation for improved immunity against EMI/EMC effects.

This AEC-Q100-qualified converter includes output over-voltage protection, output voltage sequencing, and thermal protection for high reliability during power conversion.
