The JMR03 Series from XP Power are Regulated Medical DC-DC Converters that convert input voltages of 4.5-75 V to single and dual output voltages of 5-30 V DC. These ultra-compact converters deliver an output current of up to 700 mA, an output power of 3.5 W and have efficiencies of over 82%. These converters are compliant with IEC 60601-1 medical safety standards. They offer continuous short circuit protection, remote on/off controls, and overload protection. These ultra-small converters save 45% of PCB area and the no load input idle current is greatly reduced giving longer run time in portable battery powered applications. They offer a 4:1 input voltage range and operate from -40°C to +90°C.

These converters have 2 x MOPP 5kVAC reinforced isolation and extremely low leakage currents benefitting system designers with easy integration into a wide range of BF and CF-rated medical applications. These converters are available in through-hole packages that measure 24.4 x 14.7 x 10.8 mm and are ideal for healthcare, home healthcare and medical diagnostics applications.
