The BD67870MWV-ZE2 from ROHM Semiconductor is a Three-Phase Brushless DC Motor Gate Driver IC. It requires an input voltage of 4.5–60 V and provides a gate-drive strength of 0.5 A (source) and 1.0 A (sink). This gate driver IC offers fast rise and fall delays of up to 60 ns, supports a minimum input pulse width of 45 ns, and integrates UVLO protection for the VCC, VREG, and bootstrap circuits. It supports 100% duty cycle operation through a built-in trickle-charge pump and adjustable dead time control by an external resistor from 10 ns to 3000 ns. It integrates a wide range of protection features and can drive three half-bridges consisting of six N-channel power MOSFETs up to 60 V. This gate driver IC operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4.0 x 4.0 x 1.0 mm and is ideal for use in BLDC motor drives, e-bikes, mobility systems, power tools, and PMSM motor applications.
