The AL1783QT16E-13 from Diodes Incorporated is an Automotive Qualified Three-Channel Linear LED Driver IC that is ideal for automotive LED lighting applications such as daytime running lights, position lights, fog lights, rear lights, stop or taillights and interior lighting applications. It requires an input voltage of 6.5 - 55 V. This controller regulates the output LED current up to 300 mA. It benefits from a compact and cost-effective design, excellent PWM dimming performance, low standby power, ease of system implementation with up to 55 V input, and LED pin operating voltage. This LED driver enters and exits standby power-saving mode automatically and has in-built fault reporting mechanisms. It features robust protections such as under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), led string open protection (LED open), over-temperature protection (OTP), thermal foldback, thermal shutdown, and automatic thermal recovery.
