The NCL30060BDR2G from onsemi is a Single Stage LED Driver that is ideal for low- to medium-power LED lighting applications. It requires an input voltage of 8.8 - 28 V. This LED driver utilizes a constant on-time control technique to ensure near unity power factor across a wide range of input voltages and output power. It integrates a direct optocoupler feedback connection and includes a built-in high-voltage start-up circuit to provide a constant on-time signal for pulse width modulation (PWM) control.


This power driver provides quasi-resonant switching to reduce switching loss and can be used for both isolated flyback and buck topologies. It is equipped with protection features such as over-voltage protection, maximum on-time protection, cycle-by-cycle over-current protection, output winding short-circuits protection, and thermal shutdown. This RoHS-compliant LED driver utilizes a frequency dithering technique to reduce the electromagnetic interference (EMI). It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4.8 x 5.8 mm.
