The NCL30188 from onsemi is a Power-Factor Corrected LED Driver IC that is designed to support flyback, buck−boost, and SEPIC topologies.  It requires an input voltage of -0.3 V to 30 V. This LED driver has a Tight LED Constant Current Regulation of ±2% and utilizes constant current control with primary side feedback. It features robust protection mechanisms including OVP on VCC, programmable over-voltage and LED open-circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting, winding and secondary diode short protection, output and current sense short circuit safeguards, and user-programmable NTC-based thermal foldback. This LED driver is available in a surface-mount package that measures 6.2 x 5 x 1.75 mm and is ideal for integral LED bulbs and tubes, LED light engines, LED drivers/power supplies, and electronic control gear for LED lighting.
