The NX30P6093 from NXP Semiconductors is a High-Voltage I2C-Controlled Over-Voltage Protection Load Switch that has been designed for USB Type-C and power delivery (PD) power control applications. It requires an input voltage of 2.8 -20 V. This power switch has built-in slew rate control for inrush current limit and an integrated current source for input pin impedance detection. It includes under-voltage lockout, over-voltage lockout, and over-temperature protection circuits to automatically isolate the power switch terminals when a fault condition occurs. This power switch benefits from surge protection and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. It is available in a wafer-level package that measures 1.7 x 2.16 x 0.4 mm and is ideal for smart and feature phones, tablets, eBooks, and notebook applications.
