The INN4174C-H192 from Power Integrations is an Offline CV/CC ZVS Flyback Switcher IC that is ideal for high-density flyback designs up to 220 W, high-efficiency CV/CC power supplies, and high-efficiency USB power delivery (PD) adapter applications. It requires an input voltage of 85-265 V and provides an output voltage of 3 - 24 V. This switch delivers an output power (peak) of up to 170 W. It includes control logic, LDO regulator, receiver controller, MOSFETs, a secondary controller, oscillator/timer, feedback driver, logic gates, error compensator, secondary latch, detector, and protection circuitries in a single IC. This switch IC has been designed to dramatically improve the efficiency of flyback power converters, particularly those requiring a compact form-factor. It combines the functionalities of the switch with ClampZero active clamp ICs to significantly reduce system and primary switch losses, allowing for extremely high power densities.
