The NB7130 Series from Nisshinbo Micro Devices are Single-Cell Li-ion/Li-Polymer Rechargeable Battery Protection ICs that are ideal for hearable/wearable devices, smartphones, and handheld data terminal applications. These battery protection ICs require an input voltage of 1.5-5 V and have a power dissipation of 150 mW. They feature high-accuracy overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit current protection capabilities for low-side FET transistors and sense resistors. These ICs incorporate built-in short-circuit protection to prevent excessive external short-circuit currents. They support temperature sensing by connecting a thermistor, which improves overall safety and reliability in battery management. These battery protection ICs are available in surface-mount packages measuring 1.65 x 0.97 x 0.4 mm.
