AP74701QTA8-7 Image

The AP74701QTA8-7 from Diodes Incorporated is an AEC-Q100-Qualified Ideal Diode Controller designed for reverse-battery protection in automotive and industrial systems. It requires an input voltage range of 3.2-65 V (with 3.9 V startup). This gate driver operates with an external N-channel MOSFET to achieve a low forward voltage drop of 20 mV, ensuring minimal power loss, and is well-suited for 12 V automotive systems. This controller features a fast reverse current blocking response time of less than 0.75 μs. It integrates a charge pump gate driver, providing up to 2.3 A peak gate turn-off current for efficient MOSFET control. It has a low quiescent current of 80 μA in active mode and only 1 μA in shutdown. This gate driver provides an ESD protection of 2 kV (HBM) and 750 V (CDM). It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.95 x 2.95 x 1.10 mm and is ideal for automotive infotainment, ADAS cameras, active power ORing, industrial automation (PLC), and enterprise power supply applications.
