VO3120 Image

The VO3120 from Vishay is an IGBT and MOSFET Driver that has been designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. It requires an input voltage of 15 - 32 V and provides a peak output current of over 2.5 A. This optocoupler is equipped with a high operating voltage range, allowing it to deliver the necessary drive voltages for gate-controlled devices. It possesses optimal voltage and current ratings that make it well-suited for directly driving IGBTs with ratings up to 800 V/50 A.

This RoHS-compliant IGBT and MOSFET driver enables effective control of higher-rated IGBTs by driving a discrete power stage that governs the IGBT gate. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 9.77 x 6.65 x 3.55 mm and is ideal for isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drivers, AC and brushless DC motor drives, induction stovetops, switch mode power supplies (SMPS), industrial inverter applications.
