The CAS480M12HM3 from Wolfspeed is a High-Performance SiC Half-Bridge Gate Driver Module that is ideal for solar, EV chargers, industrial automation and testing, railway, and traction applications. It requires an input voltage of 8 - 19 V. This gate driver module is implemented using switching-optimized third-generation SiC MOSFET technology and integrates robust diodes with zero reverse recovery charge. It offers improved system efficiency due to low switching and conduction losses of the SiC substrate.

This half-bridge module also includes an optimally designed AlSiC baseplate that enables system retrofit and a Silicon Nitride insulator that ensures high reliability. It has low inductance and high junction temperature operation capability in a low-profile footprint. This RoHS-compliant module is available in a chassis-mount package that measures 110 x 65 x 12.2 mm.
